Alter Metal Recycling is a scrap metal company in Janesville, Wisconsin. Samuels Recycling Company was established in 1896 in Portage, WI and was acquired by Alter Trading Corporation in December of 2006. The Janesville, Wisconsin location was purchased by Samuels Recycling Company in 1985. Samuels/Janesville continues its 22nd year history of serving the recycling needs of the community and surrounding areas. Samuels/Janesville works with the community for many events including school can drives, yard tours for children's groups, sponsoring the local 4th of July fireworks and our annual Earth Day event.
