Low grade boards can be found in household electronics. Almost every electronic has a low grade board that can be scrapped. Prices for low grade boards can vary based on your location and the scrap metal yard that you go to, so check the scrap prices before you get there. If you have a large load of low grade boards or other metals to scrap, be sure to contact the local scrap yard and arrange to have a scrap metal pick up or container drop off for you materials and scrap low grade boards.
Low grade boards are found mostly in the common household appliances and electronics (other then computer towers or laptops). These boards are required to have very little precious metals on them because they are generally doing a very simple task (example of this would be a microwave that is only heating/defrosting food). You may be taking appliances apart to get the electric motors or wiring out of them and then you have the low grade boards as a bi-product. Make sure you save them because you will be able to cash them in once you find the right scrap yard.
