Scrap copper electric motors are used for extra spending money. Usually, they aren’t too hard to find, considering almost everything electric has one. Taking out the copper electric motor in home appliances that are no longer in use can benefit you and your wallet. Electric motors with copper windings will have a heavier load than aluminum ones. Copper motors are the most common electric motors because they do such a great job of generating electricity and power through the appliance they are used in. We don’t suggest taking electric motors apart for the copper wire unless you have dozens. The time you will take to dismantle them may not pay off at the scale of the scrap yard. If your company just dismantled some A/C cooling units or generators from an old building, take them apart and get to the electric motors to make the most out of your hard work.
