Weekly What’s Update: Steel On The Mend?

Steel Prices Going Down- September 2014Hey iScrappers!!!

Welcome to 2015 where the possibilities are endless. In the last couple of weeks it has been a rough end to 2014 and a tough beginning to 2015.

The copper market is at its lowest point in over four years, and what we have said the last few months unfortunately is coming to light. The market is continuing to drop and we suggest getting rid of your non-ferrous if you have been holding it.

With gas prices dropping so much, the commodities market is a little out of whack, and might be that way for a while.

On the ferrous side of things we have finally seen a small uptick on steel prices jumping up $5-10 per ton. Depending on your area of the country you may or may not seen that price change happen immediately.
