Hope all is well and you have been checking out the reported prices that other scrappers have been posting online. The postings are really picking up and it seems to be a great response from so many of you!
Copper has been relatively flat recently, it did go down a few cents per pound since last week but nothing too bad that will have a bad affect on the prices today. With so much uncertainty in the markets, espeically in China, don’t be surprised to see copper dropping more in the coming weeks.
Steel has dipped down another $10 per ton, and the outlook on steel is not very positive for the rest of 2015. Many markets are unsure of what the prices will do and it will be tough to guess what is going to happen soon. The prices are tough to gauge, and the massive amounts of iron ore that is still being pulled out of South American countries as well as many others will continue to drive the price down.
Aluminum seems to have settled down over the last few weeks with prices remaining relatively stable and the same goes for gold. After the large drop in gold about a month ago we have seen the prices hovering just below $1100 per ounce.
Hope you’re able to post some of the prices that you have been receiving online, let us know how else we can help.
Scrap ya later!
