Weekly Scrap Price Update: Copper & Steel Stabilize, AL Drops

Steel and copper prices stableHey iScrappers!

Hope you are enjoying this warm weather spreading across the nation, hope to see a lot more jobs starting and scrap metal flowing! Don’t forget when you are selling your scrap to post your prices through the iScrap App to help so many other scrappers figure out where the prices are at!

In the last week we have not seen too much of a move in the market with any of the metals. The prices on copper has fluctuated a bit, and might be up 2-3 cents in your area since last week, but with such a small swing don’t be surprised not to see an immediate change.

Aluminum prices continue to get hammered with pricing dropping again. The market has continued to get hit across the nation and there does not seem to be much of a huge change coming soon.

Steel and iron prices have continued to rebound after bottoming out earlier this year and the market should be up another $5-10 per ton since last week with more good signs coming.

Any other ideas or prices that you need us to go over please let us know and make sure to continue to post your scrap prices that you are receiving.

Until next week….scrap ya later!
