Weekly Scrap Price Update: Copper Sees Huge Drop

copper see huge dropHey iScrappers!

With the middle of June already here we have seen hundreds of reported prices through the iScrapApp.com and we hope that you are able to post some prices of scrap metal that you have sold!

In the last week we have seen copper drop about 10 cents per lb. With so much uncertainty in the gas prices as well as the crisis in Greece you may start to see these prices dropping even more over the next few weeks. Be prepared for copper to drop another 20-30 cents according to many analysts.

Steel prices have remained calm over the last week which is a great thing, especially being able to see a steady flow over the last few months with upward prices as well as stabilization.

Gold has not really changed, but the drop in copper will affect your electronic scrap prices, so have a heads up there.

Any other questions on material pricing or other information please let us know and we will get them over to you ASAP.

Scrap ya later!
