Weekly Scrap Price Update: Copper Drops, Steel To Follow?

Hey Scrappers!

Hope you had a great Memorial Day Weekend and paid tribute to all those lost serving our country. The home of the free, because of the brave.

Don’t forget to POST YOUR PRICES online through www.iScrapApp.com for your local scrap yard. This will help not only your fellow scrappers with an idea on pricing, but also become a great tool for you to use when going out to find and sell your scrap metal.

Copper Climbs, Now Copper Drops

The prices have dropped over the last week for copper, with prices dropping about 10 cents per lb. That drop will be seen immediately on Bare Bright Copper as well as other copper pipe and flashing. The Insulated Copper Wire prices will be dropping about 3-4 cents per lb and that should have been immediate also.

Steel Price To Follow?

Steel prices have improved again and seem to be rising over these past few weeks. We do not want want to say too much though…so our fingers are crossed.

E-Scrap Prices On Downswing

Gold prices have decreased about 2-3% over the last week and you will see the scrap prices go down on a few items. Along with the copper prices going down, all of the electronic prices should be decreasing very soon.

Aluminum Stable Again?

The aluminum market continues to soften and prices do not see to be dropping anytime soon.

Any other prices or information that you are looking to learn about please let us know! Don’t forget to share the prices with your fellow scrappers and in turn hopefully they will do the same.

Scrap ya later!
