Weekly Scrap Price Update: Copper Creeping Up

copper prices going up for july 2015Hey Scrappers!

Make sure you are posting your prices through www.iScrapApp.com, with the market going all over the place it is a great place to learn about scrap prices.

FINALLY some good news! Copper has jumped back up to the levels that it was at two weeks ago with prices rising about $0.07-$0.10 per lb. With the markets truly all over the place right now it could be a really good time to sell if you have been holding onto any material.

Steel and iron prices continue to plummet…with the export and even the local steel mills with a lot of material it is a bad sign for the next few months. Steel is at 6 year lows and there are mixed reviews on whether it is going to keep climbing or continue to fall…we will push as much information to you as we can.

Aluminum continues to be weak and is also at 6 year lows. The market seems to be in a big dip right now and there has not been much positive news lately.

Hope you are checking out and posting prices through our website, we want it to be one of the best tools for you when trying to figure out the scrap prices.
