A California couple recently was walking through their backyard of over 10 years, and stumbled upon a few paint cans of gold coins from the 1800s. Most of them being in pristine condition, they are valued at over $10 million for their collector value.
One of the coins alone is worth over $1 million. The couple is trying to remain anonymous so they can prevent any intruders on their property. They plan on selling the coins to museums.
