Do Stable Copper Prices Mean Increase Is Coming? – 7/8/2020

Copper prices are UP. Mic drop. We wish that we had the ability to say that every single week but let’s enjoy it as it comes. With the copper markets continuing to stay strong and increase to 2020 highs and nearing highs that we haven’t seen in the last year…it’s been a very positive sign for the recovery stages.

Potential Problems with China Cause Copper Drops – 6/25/20

Right now one of the biggest causes of concern that we have is with the copper market and the Chinese buyers. While looking at these markets, we have been able to see that they are very difficult to conceptualize and figure out where they will be going and how the Chinese will be changing their buying practices moving forward.

Those Prices Seem Promising… – 6/10/2020

We hope that everyone is doing well and staying busy during all of these times. It looks like all of the states have reopened and the scrap prices have increased, so we are on a good page. Watching some of these copper prices increase to highs that have not been seen since February, has been extremely positive.
