11701080_850496148338545_207261140708273991_nHey iScrappers!

What a wacky week we have seen, but good thing hundreds of prices have been getting posted to our website, make sure to check out your local scrap yard and post prices that you have received.

Copper Scrap Prices in September

Copper has been very funny lately with the market going up and down all over the place It has settled in roughly where we left off last week, and hopefully we will see this stay the same going forward for a while. If you plan on holding onto your copper for the prices to uptick make sure that you are at least selling your other lower graded materials to keep the cash flow moving.

Steel Prices Didn’t Drop

Steel prices were set to drop in August…but it looks like we dodge that price drop. The pricing on steel and iron has remained mostly unchanged over the last month and it will be interesting to see what happens going forward. Many of the larger US brokers and traders in the metal markets are taking off the week before and after Labor Day, and we will really get a good look at things once the middle of September hits.

Gold Saw A Nice Rebound

Gold has had a nice rebound over the last week, part of that is because of the heavy problems and big swings in the stock market, but we expect the pricing on gold to remain relatively level going forward in September.

Anything else that you want us to update you on just let us know and we will shoot over a private message or post it below.
