3/2/16 Scrap Price Update: Copper Prices Have Held

Copper ready to weighGood Day iScrappers!!!

We hope that you are all doing well, especially because we have been seeing the reported prices of copper increasing throughout the US and Canada recently. With copper prices jumping that will bode well for your pocket and hopefully for more things to come.

Copper Prices Are Up

In the last week we have seen copper jump about 7-10 cents, and that is an excellent thing to see. Not only has it gone up, but it has stabilized and because of that we might be beginning to see a rebound in the market.

Steel Stays Steady

Steel has continued not to move at all with the market being very flat overall. We know that it is frustrating to see, but this will be the continued norm for the steel market going forward, and because of that we have to continue to be in the “wait and see” mode.

Gold Going Up?

Gold has continued to stay over 00 per ounce which will immediately affect pricing for circuit boards and other gold bearing items like Memory and CPU chips. Many reports believe that gold will continue to grow this year with such an unstable market so it may be an item you want to hold onto.
