What Are ACRs?!?!?!

ACR or Aluminum Copper Radiators can be found in numerous amounts of machinery and can be turned in for scrap. Often times scrap radiators will have a steel bracket along the side of the material, this can be removed to make more money on the scrap.

Where To Find ACRs And Other Cooling Scrap

ACR’s (or aluminum copper radiators) are normally found in air conditioners or in chilling units in all types of industries. Sometimes there are very large ones that are on the top of buildings, sometimes they are the small ones that might be in an older home that does not have central AC. The ACRs are the units that will help to circulate the freon or other oil material inside and to help push out the colder air.
